Company history

ADAPT has its origins in a center of expertise in software localization, which was founded as a joint venture in Bonn, Germany, in 1999. Following a buy-out at the end of 2003, the company was renamed ADAPT Localization Services GmbH in 2004.

Today, we have international teams of employees working in four international locations for the success of our customers. ADAPT opened its first regional office outside Germany in Stockholm back in 2002. This was followed by the founding of ADAPT Localization Services España S.L.U. in Barcelona in 2005. And, since January 2012, ADAPT has also had a presence in Denmark with an office in the greater Copenhagen area.
